Suggested dose for adults: 1 teaspoon per day in water or juice on an empty stomach or as directed by your health care practitioner.
Primary action: This formula enhances the immune system function by combating pathogens that often collaborate and possess the ability to develop resistance. It does this by activating a number of immune system pathways with a synergistic combination of ingredients. It also contains restorative herbs to build back the body’s normal energy.
The specific function of each ingredient is as follows:
- Echinacea Angustifolia is a potent stimulator of the immune system. It increases the number of leukocytes and splenocytes and increases the activity of granulocytes and phagocytes. The root is used because it possesses the highest concentrations of the active polysaccharides and echinosides.
- Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) is an Ayurvedic herb with strong adaptogenic properties and works synergistically to enhance the restorative effects of Astragalus and Siberian Ginseng.
- Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) enhances T-lymphocyte activity and therefore boosts immune system function.
- Cat’s Claw (Uncaria Tormentosa) is a very potent stimulator of the natural killer T-cell and interleukin systems and is a potent anti-inflammatory.
- Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus Senticosis) is one of the best adaptogenic herbs, increasing the body’s ability to resist and endure environmental stress.
- Astragalus (Astragalus Membranaceus), according to Chinese texts, is a rapid restorer of Chi (Energy) and an immune system stimulant.
The herbs in this formula are in a 100mL base of 20% ethanol and 80% distilled water. Although more care is needed for proper extraction, the lower than normal alcohol content helps to preserve the active ingredients in each of the herbs. Therefore the maximum amount of active components are made available.
